Christmas is still two months away, but liquor store owners are worried about yuletide spirits. Their shelves are empty, but not because business is booming. Owners are blaming the shortages on Alberta's only distribution centre. Lyle Cott reports.

Shooter Kills Three Girls at Amish School

A man went on a shooting rampage at an Amish school. Three girls are dead, several more have been taken to hospital in critical condition. Neil MacDonald reports.

Elderly Man Charged with Wife's Murder

An Edmonton man charged with the first-degree murder of his wife made a brief court appearance today. An autopsy revealed 78-year-old Noel Lavery's wife had been smothered to death. Aliya Jiwan reports.
