Yukon Fiddling - 6:35

If you can play a musical instrument, especially the fiddle, there's a job waiting for you in the far north. It seems that many parents in the Yukon want to enrol their youngsters in music lessons - violin lessons in particular. But there's a shortage of teachers. Paul Tukker decided to find out whats behind the sudden demand.

Ferry command - 7:13
CBC Television shines a light on a World War II mission that was cloaked in secrecy at the time. The story will be told in a dramatized version called Above and Beyond.

The two-part series tells the story of the high-risk plan to fly thousands of bombers across the North Atlantic from Newfoundland to Britain. At the time, critics of the plan believed it was destined to fail. But fearless pilots and an ingenious proved the critics wrong.  Kevin Harvey tells us the story of the scheme - a dream really - of the history-making adventure known as the Ferry Command.

Hunchback - 7:36
A classic silent film will be shown at St. Matthews church tonight. The Hunchback of Notre Dame - made in the early 1920's - will be the backdrop for vocal accompaniment by Ottawa's Chamber Choir 17 Voyces.   Rob speaks with Kevin Reeves,  artistic director of the Choir.

Hiking with Michael Haynes -  8:13

Karen Bailey - 8:40

Miss Marjorie Gray was a longtime resident of Ottawa. She lived in the same apartment in a Centretown buidling for more than 60 years. She died in 2005 at the age of 94.

Marjorie Gray's life would be pretty much forgotten by now if it wasn't for Karen Bailey. Karen is an artist who befriended Marjorie Grey when they were living in the same apartment building. With a collection of Marjorie's family photos, Karen has created a collection of paintings called The Marjorie Paintings.
