The governing Progressive Conservative party reeled in more than $887,000 in donations in 2005, much more than the New Democrats and Liberals combined.
Elections Nova Scotia released its annual report on political contributions on Friday.
The NDP reported $383,000, while the Liberals said they collected $267,000.
Stephen Glavine of Calgary gave $20,000 to the Liberals in the largest single contribution to the party.
Magna International Inc. of Ontario gave the Tories their largest single donation: $15,000.
The biggest donations to the NDP came from three unions. CAW Canada, CUPE Nova Scotia and PSAC Canada each gave $10,000.
The political parties are required to disclose the names and addresses of all contributors who gave more than $50.
