The Colours of My Father: A Portrait of Sam Borenstein (Joyce Borenstein, 29 min.) Award-winning film on the Canadian artist Sam Borenstein. Using various animation techniques, the film integrates archival material, filmed sequences, his paintings, and reminiscences of friends and family.

The Monkey People
(Rabbit Ears Production, 25 minutes)
This Colombian fable recounts the story of villagers in the Amazon jungle who receive a gift from a mysterious stranger: monkeys that take care of all their chores. Life soon becomes troublesome when the monkeys being to multiply and take on every human activity – including complaining. Veteran jazz guitarist Lee Ritenour’s outstanding musical score perfectly evokes the traditional folk rhythms of South America. This animated short is perfect for children ages five and up.
