AN EVENING OF FINE ART, MUSIC, AND CONVERSATION
Come and explore the retrospective exhibition of the self-taught painter Norval Morriseau, the founder of his own school of Canadian painting known as the “Woodland” or Anishnaabe school. His colourful, figurative images in heavy black outlines and characteristic X-ray views explore many traditional stories. Afterwards, sample Anishnaabe-style food. ¸
Cost: $35 (Friends $30). Registration required: (613) 998-8888.
