We are a national non-profit educational organization whose purpose is to have a fellowship of persons who enjoy needlework and wish to learn and share their knowledge; and thereby to work towards maintaining higher standards of design, colour and workmanship. Our aim is to preserve traditional techniques and promote new challenges in the Art of Embroidery through education and networking. A Message From Our President: Welcome to the EAC Website. As you browse our pages you will see that Needlework is a hobby and an art form with aspects that you might never have imagined. We are fibre artists in techniques both traditional and contemporary. With chapters all across Canada, and members from all around our great country and from other wonderful spots around the globe, we are brought together by our love of needlework. Our two main goals of education and networking come together at our annual Seminars, but are also evident in the needlework education programs we sponsor and the resources available to both chapter and individual members.

We encourage you to consider joining us, whether you are new to working with the threaded needle, or someone who has been enjoying the many aspects of our shared hobby for many years. Our quarterly magazine, Embroidery Canada contains news of chapter happenings across the country, innovative projects, and fascinating articles on all aspects of needlework. Our website, in particular the Members' Only section, will keep you up-to-date on the latest news within the organization as well as fun projects for individual or chapter use. Browse through the site and if you have questions on any aspect of the Embroiderers' Association of Canada, don't hesitate to contact any member of the Board of Directors. We would be very pleased to hear from you.

Important Notice Regarding Author-Owned Courses

Some author-owned group correspondence courses are currently scheduled to finish in 2013. You must be registered for the course, before the advertised closing date, if you wish take these courses.
