Nashville, TN (Sports Network) - Scott Walker scored the tie-breaking goal on
the power play with 12:24 left to play, as Nashville topped Carolina 4-2 in a
preseason contest at the Gaylord Center.
Walker, Martin Erat, Yanic Perrault and David Legwand all finished with a goal
and an assist for the Predators, who tallied three times in the final period
to erase a 2-1 deficit.
Perrault sealed the win with an empty-net goal off a feed from Walker with
1:22 remaining.
Josef Vasicek netted his fifth goal of the preseason for the Hurricanes, while
Erik Cole also scored in the loss.
