Boston, MA (Sports Network) - Glen Murray had a pair of goals to lead Boston
past the New York Rangers, 5-2, in preseason action.
Patrice Bergeron, Brad Boyes and Sergei Samsonov also tallied for the Bruins,
who concluded their preseason slate. Andrew Raycroft stopped 23 shots in the
win.
Ryan Hollweg and Jason Ward scored for the Rangers, who play New Jersey in
their preseason finale Sunday afternoon. Henrik Lundqvist had 32 saves in the
loss.
Boston opens up its 2005 season with a Wednesday night home game against
Montreal, while the Rangers will visit Philadelphia.
