Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - Henrik Zetterberg scored the game-winner in the
shootout to lead the Detroit Red Wings to a 3-2 win over the Toronto Maple
Leafs in the preseason finale at Air Canada Centre.
Kris Draper and Danny Markov scored goals and Chris Osgood stopped 21 shots
and two of three shootout skaters for the Red Wings, who finished the
preseason with a 6-1-2 record.
Pavel Kubina and Mats Sundin each scored goals and Andrew Raycroft made 26
saves for the Maple Leafs, who went 3-5 in the preseason.
The Maple Leafs will host the Senators when the NHL season gets underway on
Wednesday.
Detroit starts its regular season on Thursday when it hosts Vancouver.
