2006 CFL ON CBC SEASON FEATURES EXPANDED SCHEDULE DOUBLEHEADER CLASSICS, MORE PRIME TIME COVERAGE

Canadian football fans can look forward to an action packed summer schedule. The 2006 CFL ON CBC season will also feature two traditional doubleheaders: beginning with the CFL ON CBC’s Labour Day Classic on Sept. 4, when Calgary hosts Edmonton for the battle of Alberta, followed by a heated, provincial rivalry as Toronto visits Hamilton. CFL ON CBC’s Thanksgiving Day Classic kicks off on Oct. 9, when Montreal hosts Winnipeg, followed by Edmonton at Toronto.
