Services for Entrepreneurs with Disabilities at the C/MBSC

Last Verified: 2004-07-27

An overview of the special equipment, computer and otherwise, and services available at the C/MBSC for entrepreneurs with disabilities.

The C/MBSC library is set up to serve individuals with disabilities. Both our library and our washrooms are wheelchair accessible. Any materials produced by the C/MBSC and all federal government publications can be made available in alternative formats upon request. We have a TTY/TDD telephone (800-457-8466) and provide services by mail, electronic mail and facsimile.

Our library has a small collection of materials available in alternative formats (audio tapes, Braille, diskettes and large print). This collection is mostly information on government programs and services but we do have a business start-up guide available in both large print and Braille. A sizable audio tape collection which covers all sorts of business related topics is also available.

Besides these materials we also have an assortment of assistive equipment both software and hardware. The following list indicates what equipment we have for various levels of physical ability.
