The mandate of the Labour Relations Agency is to foster a positive labour relations climate which is conducive to economic growth, competitiveness and prosperity. These goals are pursued through: proactive approaches to strengthen collaborative relationships between business, labour and government; a program to develop and maintain effective legislation; and programs to enhance awareness of workplace issues and administer and enforce the legislation.
