Two players with Toronto connections were placed on waivers Thursday by the Seattle SuperSonics.
Former Toronto Raptors point guard Milt Palacio and Toronto native Denham Brown were placed on waivers as Seattle chose to go with Mike Wilks off the bench.

Palacio, 28, played 71 games for the Utah Jazz last season, averaging 6.2 points, 2.6 assists, 1.8 rebounds and 19.3 minutes.
He joined Seattle as a free agent on Oct. 2.
Palacio has averaged 4.7 points, 2.5 assists, 1.7 rebounds and 17.9 minutes in 470 games (88 starts) over seven NBA seasons with the Vancouver Grizzlies, Boston Celtics, Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers, Raptors and Jazz.
Brown, a rookie pro, was drafted out of Connecticut in the second round (40th overall) by Seattle on June 28.
The 23-year-old was a 42.9 per cent shooter over four NCAA seasons, averaging 9.3 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 24.1 minutes in 135 games (96 starts) for the Huskies.
