Le Conseil consultatif des sciences et de la
technologie (CCST) est un conseil consultatif fédéral
indépendant dont le mandat consiste à fournir au
Premier ministre des avis stratégiques sur l'état
et l'orientation future des sciences, de la technologie et de
l'innovation au Canada. Le CCST prépare, à l'occasion,
des documents de fond relatifs à des questions sur lesquelles
il enquête, et met souvent ces documents à la disposition
d'autres organismes ou individus dans l'intérêt public.
