Title
Coming to Canada as a Business Immigrant
Abstract Canada welcomes three classes of business immigrants: investors, entrepreneurs and self-employed persons. Entrepreneurs must own and manage a business in Canada that creates employment for Canadian citizens or permanent residents while self-employed persons must have the ability to employ themselves and make significant contributions to cultural activities, athletics or farming. Investors must make a $400,000 investment that is used by the provinces or territories for economic development and job creation. This brochure is a revised and shorter version of "Canada's Business Immigration Programs : Coming to Canada as a Business Immigrant". It contains information about the requirements for business immigration and provides a brief overview of the selection criteria. It also contains contact information.
