|
The Indian Registry System (IRS) is a database which records the names of individuals as well as a range of non-statutory data. This revised publication describes the Indian Registry System (IRS) population as recorded at December 31, 2001. Descriptive statistics are developed from the IRS that include sex, age, residence, registry group, responsibility centre and region. Data are organized in two broad sections. The first section provides summary statistics that includes age and gender distribution and residency comparisons for all regions and Canada. The second section presents detailed information for each registry group arranged by sex, residence, responsibility centre and region.
