  Pregnancy, the Workplace and the Law
Abstract Given the vast increase in the number of women in the paid workforce over the last several decades, it is not surprising that pregnancy itself and the parental responsibilities that follow have bcome more prevalent workplace issues.

The intention of this book is to explore the various issues that are broadly related to pregnancy that may arise in an employment relationship. They apply to three groups of employees: (1) those who may beomce parents; (2) those who are in the process fo becoming parents; (3) those who are parents.
