We are the Atlantic Association of Community Business Development Corporations (CBDCs), a network of autonomous, not-for-profit organizations that work with all levels of government and the private sector to meet the needs of small business.

In rural Atlantic Canada there are 41 Corporations dedicated to the development of small business and job creation. CBDCs have been in operation for over 25 years and take their name and origin from a series of programs such as CESA, LEDA, LEAD and Community Futures, which date back to 1975.

Quinn's Marine and Machine Shop

Quinn?s Marine and Machine Shop

Gavin Quinn, owner of Quinn’s Marine and Machine Shop Ltd., (pictured second from the right) started this business in 1981 as a small diesel mechanic shop. Since that time he has expanded time and time again to the point where he is now involved in marine diesel repair and installation, welding, metal fabrication and virtually any metal custom work his clients demand.
