Europe, Middle East and Maghreb Branch

CIDA’s Europe, Middle East and Maghreb (EMM) Branch supports bilateral (country to country) and regional programming that addresses both the priorities and the challenges of individual North African and Middle Eastern nations, as well as the regional issues these countries face together.

The principal role of the branch is to plan, develop, and implement Canada's bilateral development cooperation programs in the region by matching Canadian capabilities and resources with the development needs of the countries.
