CIDA Regional Offices in Canada

Top of pageMandate

CIDA’s Canadian regional offices support Canada’s international cooperation efforts. They do this by promoting awareness of and engagement in international development and by informing a wider public about CIDA’s policies, programs, and projects. Through these offices, individuals, groups, and companies have direct access to:
  • information about CIDA;
  • help for organizations and companies wishing to work with CIDA on a development project; and
  • support for Canadians who want to be more engaged in international development issues and activities.

As well, CIDA benefits from an enhanced understanding of regional issues and concerns regarding international development, as well as insights into regional characteristics and perspectives.
