Youth Speakers Program

  spotlight

The Youth Speakers Program offers you the opportunity to express yourself and encourage young people in your community to discover the cultural richness and the challenges of living and working in a developing country. Our goal is simple: we want to help you raise awareness about international development issues amongst youth, and to encourage them to take action toward positive change.

We will keep you informed of speaking events in your region and get you connected with these speaking engagements. We will also assist with the creation of a fun and effective presentation by providing you with the resources to customize your own.

What's in it for you?

  • Gain valuable career-enriching experience.
  • Develop your presentation skills.
  • Build a network of contacts.
  • Learn more about international development and Canada’s role.
  • Inspire youth to take action.
  • Be a mentor.
  • Have fun pursuing your passion.

Become an active player in your community by raising awareness about issues that affect you, other Canadian youth, and people living in developing countries. If you want to inspire youth to make a difference in the world by becoming a youth speaker, please contact us.
