If you want to recruit qualified, enthusiastic young professionals into your organization, CIDA’s International Youth Internship Program (IYIP) can help you! IYIP is an employment program for young Canadians between the ages of 19-30. It offers post-secondary graduates the chance of a lifetime to work in a developing country and contribute to Canada’s international development goals.

The International Youth Internship Program launches one request for proposals per year.

Organizations interested in submitting proposals should familiarize themselves with the program’s guidelines and information on how to submit a proposal. It is also recommended that you review CIDA's policy frameworks and the Millennium Development Goals. Preference is given to internships in our development partner countries, although we will still consider proposals related to other countries and territories eligible for Canadian development assistance.
