Non-governmental Organizations
One of Canadian Partnership Branch's main funding windows is its Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Division. Some examples of current initiatives include:
- Club 2/3 is involved in the human rights and basic human needs areas (2001-2005)
- The overseas volunteering programs of Oxfam-Québec and the Canadian Centre for International Studies and Cooperation support initiatives in different sectors, including environment and rural development (2002-2005)
- Development and Peace works on issues such as strengthening grass-roots organizations, human rights observance and participation women and gender equity (2004-2007)
- Help the aged Canada is responsible for the Haiti Primary Health and Training Program (2001-2005)
- International Christian Aid Canada manages an integrated community health project; (2003-2006)
