Location: Nationwide, with particular emphasis on the north, south east and southern areas of Haiti.

This project is a print-based extension program in literacy and agriculture. Machet Vet Creole for Green Machete, is the Haitian adaptation of educational material on sustainable agriculture, livestock production and forestry which was developed in Nicaragua. The project aims to improve the living conditions of rural Haitians by providing extension services to increase agricultural production, while limiting environmental degradation. It will strengthen existing training programs and build the technical skills of Haitian partners in sustainable management of production systems.
