And we've been looking at the topic of education as part of a month long series called Montreal Matters. We'll bring the story of an opera singer who has found her true calling teaching others to sing. We'll also consult some pint-size pundits about school uniforms.

Transport Quebec doesn't have an explanation yet for why this happened but we talked to an engineer about the possible causes. Because of the highway closure caused by the collapse many people opted for public transportation. As it happens, the Montreal metro is celebrating it's 40th anniversary. We asked Montrealers for their thoughts on our underground.
