Each week, Brian Keating takes us on a journey featuring wild animals and exotic locations. He's the head of Outreach Programs at the Calgary Zoo.

3:10 p.m. SPORTS GUY
CBC broadcaster Nick Purdon is a big fan of sports. Nick delivers a unique twist on athletics with a healthy supplement of humour.

4:15 p.m. HOUSE DOCTOR
Brian Goldman is an emergency room physician in Toronto and an accomplished broadcaster. He wades in on everything from the common cold - to medical research - to health care policy.

Local food expert John Bragg examines a critical element of our daily lives. What we put in our mouths.

4:35 p.m. SCIENCE with PAT SENSON
Pat Senson has a knack of finding fascinating science stories that fly under the radar. He's a producer with the weekly CBC science program, Quirks and Quarks.


Thursday:
4:15 p.m. CASE STUDY
Debi Andrus teaches marketing at the University of Calgary. She brings us stories of the titans and trends in business and how the biz world affects consumers.

4:35 p.m. DIGGIN' IT (seasonal)
Jeff de Jong digs deep to helps us with our horticultural habits. From shrubs to trees to flowers, he's the man with green advice.

5:45 p.m. HARRY THE HISTORIAN
Local historian Harry Sanders challenges listeners about their knowledge of Calgary with a weekly quiz. People can call in for a chance to win CBC swag. Harry provides fun-filled facts with interesting "back stories."


Friday:
3:10 GOOGLE ZEIT GUY
Comic Dean Jenkinson dissects the top ten list of the most popular searches on Google. You can hear his commentary around 3:10 p.m.

4:35 FLICK PICKS
Film Reviewer Eli Glasner tells us about the new films hitting the big screens in Calgary.
