This program assists adults with disabilities who are receiving income support and who require home support services.

Newfoundland and Labrador Home Support Services Program
This program provides financial assistance to seniors (aged 65 and over), persons with disabilities (aged 18-64), and dependent children under age 18 who are being cared for at home or in the home of a caregiver.

Newfoundland and Labrador Community Behaviour Services
This program provides behavioural support for individuals (school-aged and older) who have developmental disabilities and have been displaying behaviours that threaten home, school, or work placements.

Canada Residential Rehabilitation Assistance Program (RRAP) for Persons with Disabilities
This program provides funding to homeowners and landlords of dwellings for low-income persons with disabilities so that they can carry out renovations to improve accessibility.

Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Home Repair Program (PHRP)
This program provides grants and repayable loans to allow low-income homeowners to make necessary repairs to bring their homes to an acceptable level of health and safety. It also provides low-income homeowners with financial assistance to make their homes accessible to senior occupants or persons with disabilities.

Newfoundland and Labrador Other Special Needs Funding/Community Access
This program provides financial assistance to enable persons with disabilities to make minor modifications to make their homes more accessible or to make minor repairs to furniture and appliances. It also provides assistance to persons with developmental disabilities to enable them to participate in Community Access activities.

Newfoundland and Labrador Special Needs Board & Lodging Supplement
This supplement assists persons (aged 18 and over) who have a physical or developmental disability by subsidizing the extra disability-related costs of maintaining an independent residence.

Canada Veterans Disability Pension (VDP)
Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) provides disability benefits to eligible veterans, serving and former members of the Canadian Forces and of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and to their spouses and dependants.
