Canada Allowance
Allowance is a monthly benefit for low-income seniors (aged 60-64) whose spouse or common-law partner is eligible for, or currently receiving, the Old Age Security (OAS) pension and the Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS).

This program provides funding to homeowners and landlords so that they can make permanent minor home adaptations.

This allowance provides non-taxable shelter subsidies to eligible low-income seniors (aged 55 and over).

Manitoba School Tax Assistance for Tenants 55 Plus
These programs provide school tax assistance for low- and moderate- income tenants and homeowners (aged 55 and over).

Manitoba Eyeglass Program
This program provides financial assistance to seniors (aged 65 and over) to help with the cost of prescription eyewear once every three year period or more often if there is a change in the prescription.
