Canada Canada Child Tax Benefit (CCTB)
This benefit is a tax-free monthly payment made to eligible families with children under 18. It may include the National Child Benefit Supplement (NCBS), a benefit for low-income families with children, and/or the Child Disability Benefit (CDB), a benefit for families caring for children with severe and prolonged disabilities.

Canada Universal Child Care Benefit
This benefit is paid to parents in monthly instalments of $100 per month per child under the age of six.

This program offers home visiting support to families and children, from pregnancy to school entry. It is delivered across the province by community public health.

Canada Maternity, Parental, or Sickness Benefits
Employment Insurance (EI) provides maternity/parental benefits to individuals who are pregnant, have recently given birth, are adopting a child, or are caring for a newborn. Sickness benefits are paid to those who are unable to work because of sickness, injury, or quarantine. You can access Employment Insurance (EI) On-line Services.

This benefit helps ensure that low- and moderate-income women meet their extra nutritional needs during pregnancy.

This program provides grants paid by the Government of Canada into tax-sheltered savings plans that help finance children's post-secondary education.

The Canada Learning Bond provides a learning bond for children born to families who receive the National Child Benefit Supplement.
