Buoy location chart

Oceanographic data have been regularly collected at 19 fixed stations throughout the St. Lawrence since 1993 via the Gulf of St. Lawrence Thermograph Network.

In 2000 for the first time, data were continuously transmitted in real time by the "Buoy IML", moored in the St. Lawrence Estuary offshore of the Maurice Lamontagne Institute (Mont-Joli, Québec), to an OSL server for diffusion on the Internet.
