North Coast Resource Management

Welcome to the North Coast Resource Management web site. The North Coast team has the responsibility of drafting and implementing fisheries management plans for all salmon species (chinook, coho, sockeye, pink, and chum), all shellfish species, herring, and other minor fin-fish and invertebrate species.. The North Coast Area includes tidal waters that stretch from the Alaskan boundary in the north to Aristazabal and Price Islands in the south, and incorporates the non-tidal waters that flow into this area. This includes Management Areas 1 to 6, including offshore areas, for tidal waters, and the southern portion of Region 6 for non-tidal waters.
