Young Entrepreneurs Association

The Young Entrepreneurs Association of Canada is a national non-profit organization whose mandate is to support young people in business.  YEA is a member-driven network of like-minded individuals who are ambitious, creative, and motivated to succeed.  Primarily aimed at people 35 and under who own businesses, YEA provides its members with the opportunity to learn from one another's experiences and take advantage of the support of our peers as we grow our businesses.

YEA's mission is to establish a national communication and resource network for young entrepreneurs; to work with private and public organizations to provide our members with relevant and timely information and tools to strengthen their businesses; to increase the survival and success rate of youth-owned businesses in Canada, by creating an environment where young entrepreneurs can support and inspire one another in growth, balance and success.

Primary Activities

• Monthly workshops and seminars on topics of interest to small business owners
• Formation of mentorship teams called Peer Mentorship Groups (PMGs)
• YEA Online Forum: a member-only business discussion group
• Monthly networking/social events
