Regional Library, Central & Arctic RegionEric Marshall Aquatic Research LibraryThe Regional Library for the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Central and Arctic Region is headquartered in Winnipeg and is located on the University of Manitoba campus. The Library was named in honour of Eric Marshall, its first librarian who established the original Freshwater Institute collection. The library focuses on the full spectrum of freshwater and Arctic waters fisheries, ecology, and wildlife management. It is an important resource for Fisheries and Oceans staff, other government departmental staff as well as students and consultants. Library Hours:Monday - Friday: 8:15 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. Even though the library is located in Winnipeg, our staff provide services to every part of the region.
