The regional offices of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans collect the information presented in this section on species licensing and registrations of fishers and vessels. The information is prepared and maintained by licensing staff of Fisheries Management in each region. Tables presented in this section cover from 1983 to the most recent year for Atlantic regions and provinces; from 1985 for the Pacific Region.
