New Exporters to Border States - NEBS (Ontario)

Ontario Exports Inc. assists Ontario companies wishing to learn about exporting. The NEBS (New Exporters to Border States) program, a two-day hands-on seminar, whereby new exporters visit either Buffalo and Detroit to demystify the exporting process. The NEBS programs run six to eight times a year.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this program, a participating company must:
- have been in business for at least one year; and
- have a manufacturing or service based in Ontario.
Participants pay a $150.00 registration fee as well as one night's accommodation. Most meals and all transportation costs are covered by Ontario Exports Inc.

- New Market Opportunities;
- Pricing;
- Selecting Agents and Distributors;
- Banking and Legal Considerations;
- Warehousing and Distribution;
- Export Financing and Insurance;
- Customs Clearance Procedures;
- Provincial and Federal Government Support.
