The Buildings Group, part of the CANMET Energy Technology Centre, helps to accelerate the movement of energy-efficient commercial and residential building technology into domestic and international markets. It supplies associations, government and business with highly specialized solutions to advance the design, construction and operation of buildings that save energy and safeguard the environment.

Eligibility Criteria

The Buildings Group works in cooperation with stakeholders in the domestic and international building industries, including equipment manufacturers, builders, architects, consulting engineers, industry associations, utilities, research organizations, universities and other federal departments and agencies. The group operates through a flexible arrangement such as fee-for-service, a strategic alliance or a venture partnership for selected priority technology areas.

Summary

  • integrated design process;
