Online Requests for Business - Financial Transactions

The Online Requests for Business service allows Business clients to electronically ask for certain financial actions to be processed on an account. It lets business clients inform the Canada Revenue Agency via the Internet of an action or review they want them to do, request items they require or inform them of communication items they no longer wish to receive.

Summary

Since financial requests require personal account review, they must be processed manually. Where possible, the system will action these requests within 24 hours of receipt but if the system is unable to automatically respond, requests will be forwarded to the appropriate tax centre for processing. The follow-up will be done by telephone or regular mail.

You can make requests for the following types of accounts:

Corporate accounts:

• corporate tax (RC)

Other levies account:

• excise tax (RE)
• excise duty (RD)
• excise tax on insurance premiums (RN)
• air travellers security charge (RG)

This service also accepts requests for the following communication based items:

• statements
• additional remittance vouchers
• reproductions of previously issued communication items
• account communication instructions

Note that Payroll and Goods and Services Tax related requests cannot be processed at this time.

Do not use this feature to:

• make general business enquiries
• make change of address requests
• make non-account related enquiries
