Retail Council of Canada’s mission is to be the voice of retail in Canada by providing advocacy, research, education and services that enhance opportunities for retail success and increase awareness of retail’s contribution to the communities and customers it serves.

Founded in 1963, Retail Council of Canada is a not-for-profit association whose more than 9 000 members represent all retail formats, including national and regional department stores, mass merchants, specialty chains, independent stores and online merchants.

RCC promotes retail as a career; as a portal to the world of work; as an economic driver; and as a barometer of consumer tastes and confidence.

Eligibility Criteria

The RCC offers a fee-based membership to Canadian retailers as well as non-retailers such as suppliers, distributors, manufacturers, financial and retail business service providers.
