Summary

ESRF is a collaborative effort led by Environment Canada and World Wildlife Fund-Canada (WWF-Canada) that supports the research and education efforts of scientists and conservation advocates who are working to recover Canadian species at risk.

Since 1988, the ESRF has provided for research, outreach and education projects by scientists and conservation advocates. Their research reveals causes of species decline and finds solutions to allow wildlife populations to rebuild. The ESRF combines public, private and non-profit sector support with the efforts of scientists, conservation groups, and landowners. This multi-sector approach is critical for the long-term survival of Canada's wildlife.

*Note: "non-profit" also known as nonprofit organizations, non profit organizations, not-for-profit organizations, voluntary organizations and volunteer organizations.
