Maple sugary lease
       
The Province is now accepting Requests for Proposals to allot approximately 1 300 hectares of Crown land for maple sugary leases. A maple sugary lease allows the lessee to collect sap, transform sap and sell maple products.
       
Deadline is: 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007
       
Land available for lease includes:
       
Licence 1 340 ha Licence 8 125 ha
Licence 2 160 ha Licence 9 247 ha
Licence 7 125 ha Licence 10 304 ha
       
Leases will be for a 10-year term.
