Hunting

New Brunswick enjoys healthy wildlife populations.
Our forest provides habitat for 80 000 white-tailed deer.
Approximately 22 000 moose roam here.
About 16 000 black bears hibernate through our long winters.
Each autumn hunters take to the woods and wetlands in pursuit of grouse, woodcock, geese and ducks, rabbits and other furbearing critters.
