Did you know that 40 per cent of our Crown land is under water?
       
New Brunswick has 5.3 million hectares of Crown – or public – land. Two million hectares is submerged. The other 60 per cent – commonly called ‘upland’ – accounts for roughly three million hectares. Natural Resources administers and controls much of this land.
