Christian Paradis Opens Earthquake Exhibit
Québec — On Friday, October 13, Christian Paradis, M.P. for Mégantic–L'Érable and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Natural Resources, will launch National Science and Technology Week (NSTW) at the Geological Survey of Canada premises. He will be joined by local students and teachers as he unveils a seismograph showcase that includes real-time seismic readings and highlights the history of major earthquakes in Canada.
NSTW is a week-long, Canada-wide event from October 13 to 22, 2006, that celebrates the importance of science and technology in our lives. For more information on NSTW and activities across Canada, please visit www.nrcan.gc.ca/nstw.
