Social Science Research Group

Waskesiu, SaskatchewanThe Social Science Research Group is an interdisciplinary team of economists, sociologists, and social psychologists. Our mandate is to conduct original, nonrecurring scientific research on issues related to the human dimensions of forest management and to publish our research in a variety of peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and reports. We strive to address Canadian Forest Service strategic research priorities from our respective social science disciplines. These disciplines provide important theoretical and methodological insights that inform our study of current forest management issues.
