Tom Blake has worked in the prescribed fire group of the Fire Research Unit at Great Lakes Forestry Centre for more than 25 years. He is currently involved in experimental and operational prescribed burn programs provincially, nationally, and internationally (with the Russian FIRE BEAR Project).
