Mike Flannigan has been working with the Canadian Forest Service (CFS)
since 1981. Mike is a research scientist in the Climate Change and Fire
Research Network with the CFS and is the project leader for the fire group
in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. His research interests include climate–vegetation–fire
interactions. Recently, his work has been addressing the role of climate
change on the forest fire regime and how altered fire regimes might influence
forests.
