Jen Beverly is a research scientist in the Fire Research Group of the
Canadian Forest Service (CFS). Jen’s background is in ecology and
operational fire management. New to the CFS as of March 2003, her research
interests include fire effects and fire behavior modeling in support of
forest and fire management activities and research. Her recent studies
include a predictive postfire mortality model for white pine, and simulation
and goal programming models for prescribed surface-fire scheduling in
protected white pine stands.
