Pete Bothwell joined the Fire Research Group in 2000, and his work focuses
primarily on research and technology transfer related to fire ecology
and disturbance dynamics. He has participated in fire effects research
throughout Canada and has also been involved in prescribed fire planning
for various research projects. Peter is currently leading studies on fire
history and fire regime analysis and is adapting natural disturbance research
to integrate with operational forest management.
