Pete Bothwell joined the Fire Research Group in 2000, and his work focuses primarily on research and technology transfer related to fire ecology and disturbance dynamics. He has participated in fire effects research throughout Canada and has also been involved in prescribed fire planning for various research projects. Peter is currently leading studies on fire history and fire regime analysis and is adapting natural disturbance research to integrate with operational forest management.
