CFFDRS Fire Picture

The Canadian Forest Fire Danger Rating System (CFFDRS) is Canada's national system of rating forest fire danger. The system includes aids, both existing and planned, for evaluation of forest fire danger, description of fire occurrence, and prediction of fire behavior characteristics.

The Canadian Forest Service Fire Research Group has developed this site to provide a source of up-to-date technical information describing the development, structure, and application of the CFFDRS.
