Saskatchewan Liaison Office in Prince Albert

The Saskatchewan Liaison Office in Prince Albert is responsible for delivering CFS programs in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, under the general direction of the Northern Forestry Centre in Edmonton. Prince Albert staff provide liaison with government, industry, and research organizations in the two provinces. An important role is coordination of the First Nation Forestry Program in Saskatchewan and Manitoba and the Model Forest Program in Saskatchewan. In addition, the office serves as a base for researchers when they are carrying out field work in the province. One staff member has been assigned to work with the newly created Saskatchewan Forest Centre, in which the CFS is a major partner.
